Use of adversevetevents.com (AVE) is subject to the following Terms and Conditions. By registering for an account, you are agreeing to abide by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. Any violation of the Terms and Conditions contained herein may result in termination of membership and access to the site.
Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
AVE presents data obtained from the openFDA database of reported adverse events associated with animal drugs and devices. This data is available for informational purposes only. Do not rely on information obtained from openFDA to make decisions regarding medical care. Always speak to a veterinary professional regarding care for your animal and any questions or concerns surrounding a drug or device.
AVE is not responsible for any clinical decisions made based on the information obtained from this site or their associated costs, nor do we guarantee the accuracy or completeness of the data obtained from openFDA.
Privacy
The information collected by AVE for registration and payment will be used in compliance with our Privacy Policy and all applicable laws.
Intellectual Property and Copyright
The AVE logo, image, and coding framework is subject to copyright and may not be copied, reproduced, modified, or commercially disseminated in any part.
Payment
The first 10 days after registration will act as a free trial period, after which payment will be required to continue use. Only one free trial will be allotted per registered email address, regardless of time since initial registration.
Prices are subject to increase if necessary for maintenance of the site.
Membership is valid for one year from the date of payment. Renewal payments made prior to expiration will extend membership one year from the original expiration date.
Payments will be processed via PayPal, and may be made via credit card, debit card, or PayPal account.
Termination of Service
Users may cancel their AVE membership at any time. No refunds will be paid upon membership termination. The user may re-register at any point, but will not receive a second free trial.
AVE administration reserves the right to suspend or terminate any membership at our discretion. Users whose memberships are terminated by AVE will not be eligible to register for new accounts at any time.
Actions that may result in termination of service include, but are not limited to:
- Sharing of usernames and passwords
- Excessive attempts to access the database or other suspicious activity
- Use of information for any purpose that may risk our liability
- Any violation of these Terms and Conditions
Changes
AVE may revise these Terms and Conditions as necessary in the future. Users will be notified via email of any changes made. Continued use of the site after implementation of changes will constitute acceptance of the updated Terms and Conditions.
