AVE is here to help veterinary professionals quickly and easily find information regarding adverse events associated with medications in veterinary patients. AVE takes your search criteria and applies it to the FDA’s database of reported events, then presents the results in a clear, concise format for ease of viewing.

The information AVE provides is available to the public for free on the OpenFDA website, but can only be retrieved by formatting a query in a particular code-based format. AVE exists to simplify this process for the average user, saving time and frustration.

Remember, the information you receive is only as good as the information reported to the FDA, so please Pay It Forward and fill out form 1932a to report any medication-related adverse events to the FDA to improve future searches.
